1.21.3 Server Update

Server Update Notification: Minecraft Version 1.21.3

This update reintroduces several features that were previously removed:

Server randomized MOTD:

• Usage: /motd add <message>
• The server MOTD supports all colors and decorators. For more details, refer to MiniMessage Formatting Guide.
• To preview your MOTD, visit Minimessage WebUI.

Voting Feature is Back:

• Votes currently do not provide milestone rewards, but a future update will include a point exchange system for various in-game benefits (visual rewards).
• Vote Commands:
  • /vote – Displays voting links.
  • /vote top – Displays top voter rankings.

Commands Update:

• Nick command /nick is back.
• Prefix command /prefix is back.

Chunk trimming:

• To address storage constraints, we will trim map chunks that have been loaded for less than 60 seconds to free up server storage space.
• If there are specific areas you don’t want to be trimmed, make sure to keep those areas loaded for more than 60 seconds. Otherwise, the chunks will be trimmed and will not be recoverable.
  • Any old chunk should not be trimmed but if it happen please open a ticket so we can look into it.

Discord update:

• With the new update and various system that we have implemented you are required to relink your discord account again. This is to refresh the credentials and other roles sync that have been broken here and there.
• DIscord ignoring no longer work due to how the new system is in place and the complexity for the function to work.
